‘The Fringes of Society’ explores the relationship between escapism and reality. Through the impact of Covid-19, I researched into the impact of fashion’s purpose of escapism in such dystopian times.
From concept to editorial, I collated and shred newspaper ciruclating Covid-19, crafting into the ‘newspaper dress’. The staple garment of the editorial, encapsulated fashion’s role of providing escapsim to our dystopian reality.
